Trainer
Nadia Saafan-Mishchenko
An experienced family counselor and psychotherapist, sexologist with many years of practice. I am also a candidate for CTA (Certified Transactional Analyst in Psychotherapy), recognized by the European Association for Transactional Analysis. I conduct supervision.
My professional activities include working with trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, support during times of loss, and assistance in restoring emotional balance.
I am a member of the Ukrainian Society of Transactional Analysis and the European Association of Transactional Analysis. I believe that understanding sexuality and the development of this area helps people improve their lives and relationships, as well as interact better. із партнерами.
I emphasize the importance of self-knowledge and knowledge to improve communication with partners and build strong relationships. My mission is to create happy couples, strong families and, as a result, happy children, whom knowledgeable parents help to grow and develop.
About the course
This course is not just a university program in sexology for psychologists. It is a practical experience aimed at self-knowledge, information, and analysis of practical situations on each topic.
Upon completion of the course, participants will better understand themselves and their needs, be aware of their own feelings, understand how their sexual interaction with their partner occurs, and what barriers prevent them from revealing their own sexuality.
By examining real cases, we will understand what sexual games people play, what prevents them from getting pleasure in relationships, what needs they satisfy or do not satisfy in their sexual life.
We also explore how sexuality is formed, learning how it is affected by developmental crises and traumatic events.
The course will help my colleagues learn to work with trauma, complex topics, and difficult emotions such as shame, guilt, and sexual disgust.
Reviews
Hope, your course was very deep and clearly structured. Information was provided with examples, which greatly facilitated perception.
You, as a presenter, were very competent, attentive, calm and ensured a state of safety and trust in the group.
The program is balanced: there were exercises and examples, and structural lectures and answers to our questions.
I received fundamental knowledge and apply it in practice.
Many thanks and many pats.

Hello Nadia! Yesterday I watched the 2nd seminar! Great, my husband and I did some of the exercises, I have already used one in my work with a client! Very necessary basic aspects, which for some reason I think are rarely given so structurally! Barely one thing - it is so nice that you studied with Garnik Kocharyan) I am from Kharkov, and I studied client-centered therapy with his brother Alexander) Thank you again
Why TA?
Transactional analysis (TA) is an analysis of our interactions with other people and our internal dialogue with ourselves. It is ideal for practical couple psychology.
Sex in relationships plays a role of communication. Transactional analysis helps us understand how we communicate, what “games” we play, and what internal barriers prevent us from experiencing pleasure. It also helps us answer questions like, “Why do I have negative feelings toward my partner?”, “What is normal and acceptable for me?”, or “What prevents me from having sexual contact?”.
This method of analysis allows us to understand how cultural upbringing influences our sexual motivation, helps us process traumatic events from negative sexual experiences or hurtful words that parents or other adults may have used to hurt a child. We learn to be open with our partner, not afraid to show our vulnerability, and at the same time remain autonomous and independent.
This course is suitable for:
- Practicing psychologists who have not received university training in sexology or have a superficial understanding of the topic.
- Transactional analysts who wish to explore aspects of sexuality from a transactional analysis perspective.
- Family psychotherapists.
- Students studying psychology.
- For people who want to learn more about themselves and their own sexuality.
